Pay Per Sale (PPS)Most merchants use this affiliate program model. How does it work? When the visitors are coming to the merchant’s website through your affiliate link and make a purchase, then you get a commission.

Affiliate commission is paid by a percentage or a certain nominal amount (flat). I recommend you to choose a commission based on percentage. Why? However, merchants will only pay the affiliate for valid data written by visitors. If the data is less valid or even incomplete as there was no phone number and email address, then the merchant will not pay affiliates.

Pay Per Action (PPA)The merchants pay commissions to their affiliates for every visitor who download, install, or use their product / service. Usually this pattern is used by merchants from the software or web service companies.

Pay Per Click (PPC)Pay Per Cilck is a way of making money which is very popular for the beginners. How does it work? The ad publishers (affiliates) place ads from advertisers who advertise their ads through PPC services. When a visitor clicks on their ads then the publishers will earn a commission. Typically, commissions are paid based on keywords.
